Planning for my Digipak Idea - Kieran

Anamatic:

We used our storyboard to create an anamatic to get an idea of how many shots we need and what times they come in. follow this link:

Shot List:

Here is the shot list I have created using Excel inorder to organise our video shoot. We will use it on the day as a rough guide to all the shot types we are using. This is benifical as it is important that we follow the "Rule of Thirds" and clearly use shot types and angles inorder for our video to look high quality.
Here is our shot list:

Call Sheet:

This is our Call Sheet which I created on Excel, we will use this to log all the numbers of the people invoulved in production so that they are easily contacted. We also have the numbers of every members next of kin incase anything happens to them during the video shoot. This is an important saftey precaution and we will be sure to provide every member of the production team with a call sheet on each day of filming.

Costume Design:

Alice-

For Alice's costume we want her to wear the typical clothes for the rock subculture...

Here is Alice's costume

We chose a short skirt to show that Alice's is off the rails and rebellious, that she is not afraid to get her skin out and that she is sexualised. We chose a denim skirt with rips in them as they are of the grunge/rock look.

We choose a black corseted to as corsets are of the rock genre (goths) black is also a comon colour within rock and represents her dark, rebellious personality.

We choose black boots as they look like Doctor Martin's which are largely worn by people into the rock music.

We choose a leather jacket as it is typical of the rock genre.

We used a lot of eye-liner as that is a key characteristic of many cultures in the rock genre. Backcombed hair is common in the "scene culture" and we used red lipstick to represent that anger that Aice is feeling. She is almost devilish and red is the colour of the devil.

Test Shots of Actors:

We took test shots of Alice to see how her hair and make-up will look when filming.
Connie: Hair & Make-up
Kieran: Photography.
This is the hair and make-up that Alice will be wearing. See Costume design for reasons why.

The reason Alice is pulling the face she is, is so that we can see what she might look like when she is in character. Because the character is rebellious we want her to look dangerous.

Production Schedule:

Here is the production schedule i created in order to organise our shoot. It is important we stick to this so that our days are not to long and exhausting.
